NIC staff celebrate Daffodil Day by wearing yellow, fund raising and planting pollinators as we all stand together against cancer – to bring hope, provide support and drive progress for cancer patients and survivors.
The ESG Steering Group organised for James Sutton, our gardener, to help us plant cowslips, cotoneasters, viburnums, heathers and Japanese skimmias. James advised us on the numerous benefits to both our local environment and staff well-being these pollinators provide.
Staff planted these flowers which we hope with help the local bees thrive and our two front beds will soon be planted with Irish wildflowers. Special thanks to Aisling O’Connor, the driving force behind this great initiative.
