With the continued disruption of ferry services through the Port of Holyhead our contingency plans remain firmly in place and are operating extremely well despite very long journeys and many extra miles being undertaken by our transport teams to and from UK.
Our core objective is to ensure that there is a continuity of express service schedules from the UK to Ireland. Whilst there is some disruption and delays occurring the contingency measures we have adapted and implemented will ensure there is consistency to our express service albeit with small delays in terms of hours and not days.
We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding and to every member of the NIC team for their excellent work in dealing with this situation.
Further updates in relation to the re-opening of Holyhead port will be issued in early January.
