Congratulations to the 13 staff members of Network International Cargo (NIC) who recently completed the six-month Programme.
Led by Shane Twomey of Phoenix HR & OD Consulting, the Team Development Programme covered various areas of learning including – implementing the company’s core values and culture, personal development techniques, HR negotiations, communication and engagement, people management and personal and staff motivation.
Senior Management undertook a 5 year strategic review in 2020 and devised a Business Plan for the company that included developing our staff, and possibly identifying areas for improvement and personal development. As a result this Team Development Programme was devised.
This is the third time the Programme has been run, starting with senior management a few years ago and now reaching middle management with more courses planned for next year.
NIC is committed to the development of people within the organisation. The goal for the company is to encourage personal development and learning.
Staff are encouraged to undertake further study and are fully supported by the company in this area. In the last year, staff have graduated on many courses including- Master’s in Business, Air Cargo Business Development, Degree in International Business and Trade, FIATA Diplomas, Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, and IIFA Customs Clearance and Practical SADs.
